How an evaluation works
Set the evaluation scope
The duration
You set a clear start and end date, typically a few weeks: long enough for staff to use the LINE-SORT IV line organizer across a range of shifts and patients.
The unit
You pick one area, such as an ICU, emergency department, or med-surg floor, so the evaluation runs with the lines and routines your team already works with.
The samples
We provide LINE-SORT IV line organizer samples for the trial period at no obligation. Pads are supplied non-sterile and discarded between patients.
The measures
Your team decides what to watch for, such as ease of line identification and how well the LINE-SORT IV line organizer fits into existing workflow. These are your unit's own observations, recorded as you see fit.
This evaluation informs purchasing review; it is not a clinical outcomes study or evidence of efficacy, safety, or guaranteed savings. There is no commitment to purchase. Observations reflect your unit’s own setting. The LINE-SORT IV line organizer is not intended to deliver fluids, regulate flow, or replace any primary medical device, line tracing procedures, or clinical judgment.
Evaluation contacts
Choose a unit contact
A clinical champion
Choose a unit champion, such as a charge nurse, educator, or clinical lead, to coordinate orientation and gather feedback from participating staff.
Your Line-Sort Medical contact
We help agree on the evaluation duration, confirm sample quantities, and identify what your unit wants to observe. Your Line-Sort Medical contact remains available for product and placement questions throughout the evaluation.
From trial to decision
Prepare the committee review
Record staff observations
Include the staff feedback collected during the evaluation, including any difficulties or questions that remain unresolved.
We provide the documentation
Alongside the trial we supply the intended-use statement, Directions for Use, and product specifications your value-analysis file needs. Regulatory and device-listing details are available on request.
Submit the findings for review
Submit your unit's findings, product documentation, and a quote to the committee for review.
